XSitePro 2.5 is in motion, currently on version 2.1x it will make a big leap forward to 2.5.
The upgrade will be free to existing customers, and will be a major overhaul, with some innovative
features, and we, very much welcome the new version.
The 2 main items being revamped are:
1. Design Elements
2. Plug-Ins (or Widgets)
With one of the major attractions of XSitePro being the speed, and ease of the program, Intellimon are now
focusing on streamlining the design stages.
After the success of XHeader, and XHeader Pro, it makes perfect sense to make header integration seamless to new
templates.
Paul Smithson has already opened the door to users, to give feedback on the sort of new features
they want to see included.
Add this to the wealth of requests at the forum, you can pretty much launch a new version now.
The latest version will include the heavy use of XSitePro plugins, like the widget feature,
XSitePro plug-ins will be hard coded into the software.
The hard coding would mean perfect integration with the main software, where 1 plug-in would
not conflict with another.
Minimizing data loss through synchronizing meaning that you should not loose any of your site
through an upgrade, unlike some Wordpress blogs that have suffered through plug-in updates not keeping up with
Wordpress updates.
